This summer, I painted a Large Wall of my classroom. The most important thing my students should grasp is the importance of Classroom Content Connecting to our Community. Although it is still unfinished, due to finances, this piece of artwork has guided students to relate the information learned in Math and LA to outside community careers.

As we continue our goal of connecting content to our community, I constantly invite community members into our room to interact with students. I want my students minds to open when they enter my room and learn that tough content can be mastered by anyone!
