Each of my classes has its own color. 2nd/3rd block is green, 4th period is pink, and 5th/6th block is blue. Anything that related to each specific class is given in the color. I buy bright colored packs of paper at the beginning of each school year to make copies for those classes. The syllabus is color coded to each period. I also use sticky notes in my teacher planner that are color coded to each class. Most areas of my classroom include green, pink, and blue including my bulletin boards.
