My project was to “color code” the different activities in my literacy & math workstations to match my rainbow colored/frog themed classroom. All 10 of my centers (classroom library, retelling, writing, content, listening, handwriting, etc.) have color coded tasks for students to complete. Each task is for a different ability level. Students are assigned a color and know to go right to that task. They also know which ones they can complete when they are done with their first activity that will be a “challenge” activity.
