I use colors to define the areas of my classroom. Each subject has a designated area. There is also an area for our unit of study (currently Asia) and sections for each area of Daily 5. Students notebooks for each subject are also color coordinated to make instructional areas easy to match with instructional materials. Student know that subject specific anchor charts will be displayed in their designated area around our classroom.
