During Calendar time there are lots of colors which makes it very inviting and engaging. I think Calendar is very important for the lower elementary because it incorporates so many different standards from science, to math, to language arts and more! It even incorporates presentation skills because I have a student lead it every day. We love calendar time and are happy that it is bright and fun!
