As a HS English teacher, I need to inspire my students to explore the written word, and find the creativity that lurks within. I expose them to a lot of color and quotes from the moment they walk in my door. They are surrounded by the creative corner, a apace that is literally papered with quotes and fun designs, and have a poetry board to take in famous poems or write their own with magnetic poetry. Everything in my room is designed to make them feel warm and welcomed and from floor to ceiling their eyes will find wisdom of others, my hope being it guides the, to find wisdom of their own!
