The students come to school in the morning and think about how they are feeling before entering and starting their day. Their are colorful mirrors with feelings on them that I pained from IKEA. The students can make faces in the mirrors to “mirror” the feelings. They then take their clothespin and check in on the clothes line underneath a feeling mirror. This helps students get ready for their day, they can share their feelings or think about them in their own minds, and it also serves as an informal attendance for me! So, tell me, how are you feeling today?
