I wanted my classroom decor to also be an effective organization tool. I chose a neon color to represent each subject I teach, and then bordered each subject board with that color. The color also matches the daily objectives, the classroom book bins, the students notebooks, and my grading sheets. This way it is easy for both my students to know what subject we are working based on what color we are using, and it is easy for me to see if all students are using the correct supplies.
