At the beginning of each science unit we do a “grab bag” where students have to identify the objects we will be using throughout the unit. I put the key objects into a pillowcase and students draw an object and give hints to the class, once the item is guessed it goes onto the Object Wall. Whenever important or new words come up we put them on the Word Wall and write the definitions in science notebooks with the rest of our research and evidence!
