I’m a fan of anything bright and happy. So why wouldn’t our projects be the same? During our geometry unit, we made shape friends. Students chose different pentagons, circles, triangles, and and quadrilaterals to put their friend together. The used leftover scraps to add some fun hair.
Students wrote about the attributes of their shape friend and attached it to the project. We hung these in our window so the ENITRE school could see. They were a huge hit with the kids and parents at Open House night!
