Every school year I like to dedicate two weeks in the summer to create an
awesomely fun classroom. Each year I spend lots of money out of pocket to create a different theme that will help motivate my new students for the new school year. This year, I have focused my theme on superheroes. The mentality of this theme is that all students, special ed or not, are super in their own way. They are all super students and through out the year, they will super second graders in training. I don’t mind spending money out of my pocket for my Students. I go above and beyond for them and even if I spend hundreds of dollars a year on my classroom, it’s all worth it. Their faces in the beginning of the year, when they first step into my classroom, is priceless.
