Being organized equals a happy teacher. I have attached the system I use in my classroom for absent students. Every student has been assigned with a number. If they are absent, I simply place any assignment or note that he/she missed while being out in their designated pocket that has their number. It’s so simple, but at the same time a life saver. I no longer have to worry where I misplace homework, progress report, etc. I simply get the sheets and place it in the right pocket. Using colored card-stock helps my students recognize their number faster and our pocket charts looks a lot more colorful and attractive. I simply love my pocket chart.
It’s such a simple, but yet an organize way to keep each student’s assignments in one place.
